I want to put a Glock 19 Hogue grip on a PF940C. Hogue recommends windex as a temporary lubricant to assist the install. Windex has ammonia. Does anyone know if the Windex will damage the Poly 80 frame?

So after soaking a piece nipped off of a frame in windex for a couple days no visible effect
