G48 slide issues

Has anyone had issues assembling a ZP G48 slide? I have an issue installing the safety and extractor. Can’t get to snap into place. I tried the same parts on an oem G48 slide and went right in. I know the safety is directional so thats not the problem.

After taking the slide to a smith he said it was cerekote in the cavity and a thorough polishing did the trick. Should have known this since similar topics have been discussed in the past. I guess I’m living up to my forum name.
