Sear engagement
My p80 with factory G23 slide seems to be working just fine but when I put an armors plate and check the lug and sear engagement it's not even close to how much coverage my 100% factory Glock has. But it's resetting fine, my question is should I not worry about it or try to bend it a smidge? Also I've seen when Glock offered a trigger bar called "pre-EH", it has more sear/lug engagement than normal. Don't know much about it. What you guys and gals think?

Hey brother! The trigger operation is different from is it safe. Every firearm I have ever drop tested that failed safety operated fine. It is something you need to address and glad to see you have done the sear inspection and noticed a problem before a major mishap. The question is what is the underlying cause creating the problem. Bending the sear might provide the 2/3 engagement but doesn't address the root cause and will likely create another issue. The 1293 trigger does have an increased angle and is an option we can explore, however, lets check off a couple of other boxes first.
Are all the internal components for both the upper and Lower OEM?
Is the trigger housing sitting flat flush on the polymer at the rear of the frame?
Does the slide have a channel liner installed?
